| Tigers Class |

Toddler Tiger Class: Age 2-3.5 Tigers class is a social class with lots of play time, songs and dancing. Tigers learn to share and make friends. Very basic academics is introduced, such as colors, shapes, lowercase alphabet, and numbers to 10 in a fun energetic manner. Assessments are done throughout the year to track progress. Two reports are sent home; one in the fall/winter months and the final at the end of the school year in spring/summer months. Toddler tigers do not need to be toilet-trained. We help train when the time is ready!

| Preschool Lions |

Preschool Lions: age 3.5 to 4.5 When the children turn 3.5 we will test them to see if they are ready for the next big step, our preschool Lions class. Lions class is our beginning academic class. Lions are introduced into early concepts of phonics, math, and science at age appropriate levels. Activities in art and music are also enjoyed daily. Independence is introduced in daily tasks such as toileting, dressing, and eating. Assessments are continually monitored with two reports going home in the fall/winter months and at the end of the school year in spring/summer months.Children must be toilet-trained and able to take of their own bathroom needs at this level.

| Pre-Kindergarten Bears |

Pre-Kindergarten bears class has an academic curriculum geared toward acclimating children into a Kindergarten setting. This class is for students starting Kindergarten in the fall. Bears Class are prepared to challenge themselves in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. This class is also where the heaviest of their school skills, such as learning to focus, reason, and hypothesize are learned. They work in group situations that require cooperation and problem-solving skills. Self directed activities are also presented to familiarize children of the kindergarten classroom. Pre-Kindergarten children are assessed throughout the year to track their progress. As summer approached, an evaluation is also done to determine their Kindergarten readiness. This helps to facilitate discussions between the family and teacher to discuss strengths and potential learning problems. Pre-Kindergarten students must be fully toilet-trained and self-help skills are encouraged with daily tasks.

New World CDC teaches Daily Mandarin class to all students. We believe that teaching young children multiple language skills helps to develop brains for strong cognitive development early on. Mandarin class is split into two groups, tigers- lions, and Pre-K bears. Both classes are taught basic Mandarin language skills and incorporates music/songs, games, cooking, and art. Chinese character writing is started in the Pre-K bears class. Mandarin speaking is encouraged throughout the day integrated into our daily tasks.
